Francisco Goya

Francisco Goya (1746–1828) was a Spanish painter and printmaker whose work profoundly shaped the course of Western art. Born in Fuendetodos, Spain, Goya began his artistic training in Zaragoza and later moved to Madrid, where he became a court painter to the Spanish crown.
