Theo van Hoytema

Theo van Hoytema 1863-1917 was employed as a draughtsman in the Zoological Museum in Leiden where he was able to draw much inspiration from the natural form of animals. Theo was known as a book illustrator, painter, aquarellist, and etcher and is renowned for his incredibly detailed lithographic work.
