John Fery was an Austrian-American artist known for his landscapes, particularly his depictions of the American West. He was born in 1859 in Strasbourg, which was then part of the Austrian Empire and is now in France. Fery immigrated to the United States in 1881, settling initially in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
