Laura was born, raised and educated in Sweden. After high school she attended a one year fulltime arts foundation course in Stockholm. Follow that she zoned in on her talents and attended RMI-Berghs communication institute, studying graphic design and illustration.
Upon graduation she started a successful illustration career working for major magazines, advertising agencies and design firms.
Then in 1993 New York was calling her creative spirit and she relocated and started a successful journey in the big city’s editorial and design world.
Lara has published 11 children’s picture books that she has authored herself, that has been published all over the world.
