Flora brings her background in textile and surface design seamlessly into her fine art paintings. Working freestyle without sketching, she builds layers of intense color, places areas of intricate pattern against smooth opaque, fluid forms against clean blocks of color. Both simple and detailed, vibrant and subtle, every piece is an expression of the movement and harmony of the natural landscape.
