Bruno Liljefors (1860–1939) was a Swedish painter celebrated for his dynamic and realistic depictions of wildlife and nature. Born in Uppsala, Sweden, he studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm and later traveled through Europe, where he was influenced by Impressionism and naturalism. Liljefors became renowned for his ability to capture the drama and vitality of animals in their natural environments, portraying not just their form but their movement, instinct, and interaction with light and landscape.
