Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640) was a Flemish Baroque painter renowned for his vibrant, dynamic compositions and mastery of color and movement. Born in Siegen, Germany, he studied in Antwerp, where he later established a prolific workshop. Rubens’s work often featured mythological, religious, and historical themes, characterized by sensuality and dramatic contrasts.
